The face in question belongs to "G8 Nova, lostchild328", an ex-competitive Mario Kart Wii player, who, in his time playing the game, was caught hacking on multiple occasions. His defence was a pretty sarcastic "It's lag, bro!" on some of these occasions, and it's become somewhat of a running joke in the community, with his face being the forefront of the majority of jokes about people cheating.
